Understanding the Human Experience of Work
Many of the challenges organisations face are visible. The conditions creating them are not.
The B.I.G. P.I.C.T.U.R.E.™ Framework helps leaders make the invisible visible by understanding how leadership, culture, governance, capability and psychosocial factors interact to shape performance, wellbeing and risk.

Understanding the human
experience of work
The problem
Most organisations measure outcomes such as engagement, turnover, wellbeing and safety incidents. While these indicators are important, they often reveal symptoms rather than causes. What is less visible are the underlying organisational conditions shaping workforce experience and performance — factors such as leadership capability, workload, decision-making, role clarity, cultural norms and psychosocial risk.
Without understanding these conditions, organisations can struggle to identify why performance, wellbeing and execution are becoming harder to sustain.
Do we have the leadership, cultural and workforce capacity to deliver our strategy sustainably?
The impact
When organisational demands exceed workforce capacity, the consequences are felt across the business. Cognitive overload, leadership strain and accumulated change fatigue reduce people's ability to think clearly, collaborate effectively, adapt to change and perform consistently.
Capacity to perform
The ability of people and systems to sustain performance over time: Organisational success depends not only on strategy and capability, but on the capacity of leaders, teams and systems to absorb pressure, adapt to change and maintain performance.
Conditions beneath the surface
The factors that shape organisational outcomes: The most influential drivers of performance are often the least visible. Leadership behaviours, cultural norms, work design and psychosocial conditions can either strengthen organisational resilience or quietly erode it.

Her work focuses on what sits beneath the surface of workplace challenges — exploring how workload, pressure, work design and organisational conditions shape the way people think, communicate, make decisions and respond to change.
Drawing on experience across health and safety, people experience and integrative therapeutic practice, Sophie brings a practical, human and evidence-informed perspective to psychosocial risk, workplace wellbeing and organisational health.
As an Integrative Therapist, Sophie draws on multiple therapeutic approaches to understand the unique experiences, behaviours and responses of individuals.
